Abstract

Abstract: This study deeply examines the urgency of financial bookkeeping and digital marketing to increase the competitiveness of small, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) globally. The development of the MSME sector, as one of the backbones of the national economy in the global era, faces new challenges as well as great opportunities. The process of digitizing various aspects of life is starting to change consumer behavior patterns, this requires business actors to adapt quickly. Digital marketing offers a range of advantages, from a wider reach to the ability to target specific audiences. However, the success of digital marketing depends not only on technical innovation but also on good financial management. This is where simple but accurate bookkeeping is important because many MSMEs experience difficulties in efficient bookkeeping. The writing of this article uses a qualitative motto with a descriptive-analysis approach. The implementation of this method results in the conclusion that the integration between digital marketing and good bookkeeping can provide a significant competitive advantage. With digital marketing, products can be widely known and have greater appeal to modern consumers. Meanwhile, good bookkeeping allows the management of production costs, profit calculation, and allocation of funds for business development to be more transparent and efficient. The results of this research can provide practical guidance for small and medium business actors to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities in the digital era.

 

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam urgensi pembukuan keuangan dan pemasaran digital untuk peningkatan daya saing usaha kecil, mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) di era global. Pengembangan sektor UMKM, sebagai salah satu tulang punggung ekonomi nasional di era global, menghadapi tantangan baru sekaligus peluang besar. Proses digitalisasi berbagai aspek kehidupan mulai merubah pola perilaku konsumen, hal ini menuntut pelaku usaha untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat. Pemasaran digital menawarkan berbagai keunggulan, mulai dari jangkauan yang lebih luas hingga kemampuan untuk menargetkan audiens secara spesifik. Namun, keberhasilan pemasaran digital tidak hanya bergantung pada inovasi teknis, tetapi juga pada pengelolaan keuangan yang baik. Di sinilah pentingnya pembukuan yang sederhana namun akurat karena banyak UMKM yang mengalami kesulitan dalam pembukuan yang efisien. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan motode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis. Implementasi metode ini menghasilkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa integrasi antara pemasaran digital dan pembukuan yang baik dapat memberikan keunggulan kompetitif yang signifikan. Dengan pemasaran digital, produk dapat dikenal luas dan memiliki daya tarik yang lebih besar bagi konsumen modern. Sementara itu, pembukuan yang baik memungkinkan pengelolaan biaya produksi, penghitungan laba, serta alokasi dana untuk pengembangan usaha menjadi lebih transparan dan efisien. Serta hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan praktis bagi pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah untuk menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang di era digital.
